Privacy Policy

We collect information in three ways:

• Account & profile — your email and authentication identifiers (via Firebase Authentication, including Google or Apple sign-in if you choose it), and the “buy box” you configure: credit tier, down-payment, loan term, target market, price limits, and the properties you save.
• Usage & device — basic technical data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) needed to operate, secure, and rate-limit the service.
• Public-record property data — information about properties and their owners drawn from government and commercial records (see “Sources” below), which may include an owner’s name and a property’s foreclosure status.

Property, listing, and owner information is aggregated from third-party sources, not created by us:

• Public records — pre-foreclosure details (owner of record, sale date, redemption window, lender, amounts) come from the published Notice of Mortgage Foreclosure Sale required by Minn. Stat. §580.04, county sheriff-sale lists, and legal notices. These are public records.
• Listing & market data — for-sale and recently-sold listings are sourced from realtor.com data via a third-party API. DealBumble is not affiliated with or endorsed by Move, Inc. or realtor.com.
• Geocoding — approximate map coordinates are derived using the U.S. Census geocoder.
• Maps — interactive maps are served by Google Maps, which sets its own cookies and receives map-tile requests subject to Google’s privacy policy.

• To provide the service — ranking deals to your buy box, computing estimates, and rendering maps and analyses.
• To operate, secure, and improve the product, including preventing abuse of our paid data providers.
• To communicate with you about your account and material changes to the service.

We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not run ad-tracking pixels.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with service providers that operate the product on our behalf — Google/Firebase (authentication, database), our listing-data API provider, and Vercel (hosting) — under agreements that limit their use of it.

Pre-foreclosure information is presented for lawful real-estate research and arms-length outreach only. It is not a consumer report and must not be used to establish eligibility for credit, tenancy, employment, insurance, or any other purpose governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). We do not publish owner phone numbers or email addresses.

If you are a property owner and want your information reviewed or removed from the product, email privacy@dealbumble.app with the property address. We honor verified removal and opt-out requests, and we drop records once a foreclosure is resolved.

You can view and edit your buy box in Settings, and you can delete saved properties at any time. To access, correct, or delete your account data — or, depending on your state of residence, to exercise rights such as knowing what we hold or opting out — contact privacy@dealbumble.app. We will verify your request before acting on it.

We keep account data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, then delete or de-identify it. Public-record pre-foreclosure records are minimized to what the published notice contains and removed once the matter resolves. We use industry-standard safeguards, including authenticated, access-controlled data endpoints; no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

We use first-party storage that is strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to remember your buy box on your device. Google Maps sets its own functional cookies where maps are shown. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

The service is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed to children.

We may update this policy; we will revise the “last updated” date and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Questions or requests: privacy@dealbumble.app.
